It is with heavy hearts and sadness that the family of the late Kathy Bartlett announce her sudden passing on Monday, March 1, 2021 at the age of 59 years. Kathy’s positive, caring and fun-loving personality touched countless lives over the years -- for both the people and animals who were lucky enough to have known her. She will be missed beyond words, and those left behind can only try to honour her life and live with the void she has left behind. Kathy will always be remembered as a selfless and loving person who held a special place in her heart for all of her friends, family and her animals. She is survived by her brothers: Frank (Wanda), Terry (Valerie), Bob (Pam) and sister Joyce (Gord); nephews and nieces David, Geoffrey (Gillian), Scott, Danielle (Patrick), Craig (Pat), Wade (Sherry), Keith (Val), Jay (Lori), Jonathan, Nicole (Rob), Megan (Graham), Ryan (Clarisse) and great nephews and nieces Ethan, Madison, Colton, Georgia, Ava, Liam, Nolan and Caleb. She is also remembered by her partner George Camp, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and her many, many friends. Kathy was predeceased by her parents Frank and Mabel as well as her brother Allan. Special thanks to Dr. Culliton for her years of care.

A private family visitation and funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Kathy’s memory may be made to the local SPCA, which she supported and was dearly special to her.
