Mary( Beatrice) Messervey Robinson’s, NL Passed peacefully away at her daughter Mary’s home in Lawrencetown, NS, Mary Beatrice Messervey on Saturday, April 25th, 2009 at the age of 80 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Chesley; son: Carl (Nancy); daughters: Theresa (Mark), Barbara (Glenn), Mary (Frank); eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sisters: Grace, Ada and Jane; brothers: Joseph, Chesley and George; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her parents: Wilson and Minetta Legge of Heatherton; son: Gordon; sister: Georgina and brother Charles. Beatrice devoted over 50 years of service to her church and was a long time member of Three Rivers Hospital Association and the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Special recognition to Mary, Beatrice’s loving daughter who devoted eight years of taking care of her mother. Special thanks to all of Beatrice’s home care workers and the Palliative Care team. Visitation will take place from St. George’s Anglican Church, Robinson’s on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. , from where The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 30th at 2:00 p.m. Canon David Pearce officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Georges Anglican Church, Robinsons.
