Evelyn Mehetabel Stratton (nee: Parsons) Nov 12, 1932 - Dec 11, 2020 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Evelyn Stratton on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Western Long Term Care Palliative Unit at the age of 88. She will be lovingly remembered by her 4 sons: Wayne (Patricia), Rick (Rose), Jim (Tara), Frank (Tracy), grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister-in-law Doris Parsons, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and her family at the Lohnes Seniors Complex. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald, February 23, 2017, parents Samuel & Julie Parsons, brothers: Richard (Gwennie), Gilbert, Cyril; sisters: Verdie Harris (Ches), Jane Parsons, Dorothy Christopher (Raymond), Doreen Anderson (Reg)and Mona Piercey (Gordon). Ettie loved to knit, garden and always enjoyed and took pride in helping and taking care of others. Special thanks to the Palliative Care staff for your outstanding care and compassion. Due to Covid -19 government restrictions a private funeral service will be held Sunday, December 13th at Humber United Church with Reverend Jocelyn Cook officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Humber United Church.
