It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sarah Jane Ryland (nee Applin) announce her passing on Friday, December 4th, 2020 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre at the age of 92 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Daughter Eileen Toope; sons: Cyril (Gertrude), Edward and William (Adeline); 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Gladys and Bernadette Ryland, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Samuel Ryland; sons: Joseph, Terry, Levi and Clarence; parents, Richard and Catherine Applin, sister Christina Barney and brothers Bill and Joseph Applin; brother-in-law Abraham Toope and sister-in-law Yvonne Rumbolt. Keeping with Covid 19 Government Restrictions, a private Visitation will take place from St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican church, Reef's Harbour on Saturday, December 5th . Cremation to follow with Funeral service at a later date. Funeral arrangement's have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix.
