DOREEN GWENDOLYN HOLLETT CORNER BROOK, NL Passed peacefully away on Sunday, April 19th, 2009, Doreen Hollett (nee Hilliard) at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, at the age of 73 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is her husband of 51 years, Charles; seven children: Sharon, Shawn (Toby), Cheryl (Gord), Michael (Kimberly), Paul (Lisa), Darrell (Donna) and Tracey (Joey); grandchildren: Chris (Amy), Scott (Nicole), Krystal, Ashley, Andrea, Brandon and Alissa; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Hayward and Winnifred Hilliard and brothers and sisters. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Monday and Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd at 2:00 p.m. from Curling Memorial United , Reverend Margie Wood officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Diabetes Association .
