THERESA BENNETT ST. GEORGE’S, NL JULY 2, 1923 … APRIL 18, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Theresa Bennett announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center, Stephenville Crossing on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the age of 85 years. She leaves to mourn sons: Bobbie (Josephine), St. George’s, Orville, St. George’s, Clarence, St. George’s, Pat (Mary), Halifax; daughters: Betty Bennett, St. George’s, Marilyn (Kevin) Young, St. George’s; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother Cecil (Mary) Ryan; sisters: May Pye, Millie Kearney, Lillian Anderson, as well as a large number of nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends. She was predeceased by her husband Robert (Robbie), daughter Sis and sons Douglas and Terry. Visitation will take place from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George’s on Sunday and Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. from where the Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery , Court House Road. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or a donation may be made to a charity of ones choice.
