Bernard Ralph Brake Corner Brook, NL Dec. 11, 1939 – Oct. 4, 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernard Brake announce his passing on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Western Long Term Care, Palliative Unit at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his wife, Audrey (nee Roberts), daughter Karen (Dave) Etty, Grand Prairie, AB, sons: Brian (Yolanda), Grand Prairie, AB, Ralph (Lisa), Corner Brook, Roddie, Richard, Dwayne (Hilleary) all residing in Grand Prairie, AB, and Darryl, Corner Brook; 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; brothers Bill and Dave (Dot) Brake; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Ralph and Elizabeth Brake; grandson Durias, sisters Regina and Theresa; and brothers Aloysius, Mike and Kevin. There will be a private family viewing from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Monday. A private Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th from Sacred Heart Parish, followed by interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, Western Long Term Care facility.
