Anastasia (Anna) Mary Rex (nee Gould) 1909 – 2009 Corner Brook, NL Grateful for her long life of nearly 100 years, the family of Anna Rex announces her passing into eternal life on Satruday, March 28, 2009. Predeceased by her husband Harry, son Robert (Shirley) and daughter Helen (Brian Jones). Left to mourn her loss are daughters Joan Jones (Keith) Temiscaming, Que; Kathleen, All Hallows Convent, Corner Brook; son Jerry (Jean), Fort McMurray; 14 grandchildren: Michael, Cathy, Paul, Chris, Kelly Anne, Richard, Heather, Joanne, Jennifer, Julia, Robert, Michael, Andrew, Beth; 11 great grandchildren: Michelle, Marc, Chloe, Kaylee, Andrew, Vanessa, Andie, Chloe (Rexdiemer), Max, Eric, Simon, Avery, Ashlyn; niece Jean Brown, as well as other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Marks Avenue, Sunday, 7-9:00 p.m. and Monday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 31 at 10:30 a.m. from The Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mt. Bernard Avenue. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Retired Priests’ Fund or to the charity of ones choice.
