It is with great sadness that the family of the late Juanita Elsie Sheppard announce her passing at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques on Wednesday, March 18th, 2009, at the age of 69 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: daughter: Taralee; grandchildren: Jeffrey and Crystal; and great-grandchildren: Dominic and Donavin; sisters: Loretta, Laverne, Jocelyn, Dulcie, Sharon and Venita; brothers: Rod, Winston, Richard, Roy, Dave, Melvin and Kevin, along with a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank; and parents: Elsie and Gord. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port aux Basques on Thursday, 7-9 p.m.,Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and Saturday, 9-11 a.m. The Funeral Service will take place from the Salvation Army Church on Saturday, March 21st, at 2:00 p.m. with Capt. Michelle Blake officiating. The interment will follow at the Salvation Army cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
