Hazel Blanche FIGARY Port Aux Basques, NL Dec. 5, 1915 - Mar 12, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hazel Figary announce her passing at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre in Port Aux Basques on Thursday, March 12th, 2009 at the age of 93 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: daughters Florence Fudge (late George Fudge) and Hilda Wall; brother Gordon Francis (Peggy); sister-in-law Elizabeth Francis; grandchildren: Florence Wall (Ed Sosnowski) and Betty LeRiche (John Szabados); great-grandchildren: Curtis LeRiche (Krystal Mulse), Cordelia LeRiche (Dana Allen), Megan LeRiche, Braden Sosnowski-Wall, Emiley Sosnowski-Wall, Alysha Sosnowski; great-great-grand daughter Madison Muise-LeRiche, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Emanual Figary; mother Cordelia; father George Francis; brothers: Phillip Francis, Freddy Francis and Clarence Francis; sister Florence Lillington. Special thanks to Dr. Mosawe and Cathy Leamon, and the nurses at LeGrow Health Centre. Your kindness and support was greatly appreciated. Friends visited Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place from St. James Anglican Church on Saturday, March 14th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Clayton Billard officiating. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the family.
