It is with great sadness that the family of the late Allen Hillier announce his passing on Friday, February 27th at the Curtis Charles Memorial Hospital at the age of 79 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Julia; his children: Lloyd, Ivy, Sybil, Charlotte, Brenda, Donna, Doris and Ashley. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father and mother; daughter Joy; his two sisters and three brothers. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Monday, March 2nd from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. The funeral service will be held on Tuseday March 3rd at 10 A.M. from the Salvation Army Church with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Daffodil Place.
