It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edgar Hector Prosper announce his passing on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Evangeline, of 66 years; son: Wayne (Renee); daughter: Sherry (Roy); grandchildren: Jamie (Natasha), Cory (Farrah), and Rhonda (Mark); great grandchildren: Erik, Zack, Ella, Liam, Annie, and Hannah; sister in-law: Isabelle Goobie; brothers in-law: Robert (Juanita), Edgar (Myrtle), James Whiteway, best friend Darren and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son in-law: Ronald; sister: Muriel; brothers: Murdock, William and Eric; parents Bertha May and Richard Prosper; sisters in-law: Jean, Rose, Madeleine, Inez, Verna, and Valma; brothers in-law: Martin, Manson, and Sonny and Don. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Monday, December 2nd from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at First Pentecostal Church, Premier Drive on Tuesday, December 3rd at 2 :00 p.m. with Pastor Larry Soper and Pastor Norman Joy officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted.
