Betty Florence Snooks Corner Brook, NL 1942 - 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Betty Snooks announce her passing on Saturday, February 7th, 2009 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 66. She will be sadly missed by her children: Michelle Francis (Richard), Mike Snooks (Paula), very special grandchildren: Kayla Francis and Nathan Snooks; sisters: Marie Donahue and Edith (Rex) Snooks; brother: Joe Gale; sisters-in-law: Ethel Sparkes, Onea Murley, Evelyn Snooks and Marie Gale; brother-in-law: Bruce Langdon; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Ronald, (2005); parents: William and Sarah Gale; mother and father-in-law: Lena and Alfred Snooks; sisters-in-law: Vivian Langdon and Beatrice Crowther; brothers-in-law: Clausson Murley, Shawn Donahue, George Sparkes, Wilfred Snooks and Douglas Crowther. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 10th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Curling Street. Reverend Karen Laldin officiating, followed by cremation at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street Sunday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Monday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
