APRIL 14, 1923 … JANUARY 19, 2009
It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Francis Woods announce his passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center, Stephenville Crossing on Monday, January 19, 2009 at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn his children: Michael (Judy), Cape St. George, Patsy Woods, Three Rock Cove, Lorraine Moore, Stephenville; grandchildren: Francis, Judy, Lorrie, Anita, Cherish, April, Michael; great-grandchildren: Renee, Martin, Adam, Braden, Cheyenne, Megan; great-great grandchild Jayden; brothers: Bernard, Raymond, Louis (Grace) as well as other family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Agnes Woods; brother Alec; and sister Kathleen. Visitation will take place from St. Ann’s Chapel, Mainland on Wednesday beginning at 2:00 p.m. from where the Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Ed Terry officiating. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mainland. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
