It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harold Payne announce his passing on Thursday, January 15th, 2009 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders, at the age of 68 years. Leaving to mourn his children: Morley (Joy), Dartmouth, NS, Cynthia, Cow Head, Denise (Pat), Castor River North, Michael (Kim), Daniels Harbour, Darlene (Fred), Castor River North, Trina (Jamie), Edmonton, AB; wife Hughena; grandchildren: Robyn, Felicia, Candace, Jeremy, Matthew, Samantha, Courtney, Randy, Gary, Tiffany, Kyle, Cameron, Michael, Nikki, Jessica, Renee, Ryan; great-grandchildren: David, Miranda and Brody; brothers and sisters, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Michael and Violet Payne. The family received friends at Holy Cross Anglican Church in Daniels Harbour on Friday and Saturday, from where the Funeral Service took place on Sunday, January 18th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, the family graciously accepted flowers.
