JAMES JOSEPH WAYSON June 8th, 1942 - December 31st, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Wayson announce his sudden passing on Wednesday, December 31st, 2008 in his 66th year. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 45 years Maxine (nee O’Connell); sons: John (Rita), James (Sheila) and Rick (Tammy); daughters: Eileen (Peter) and Patsy (Kelly), Labrador City; brothers: William (Glenda), Ralph (Elizabeth), Nova Scotia and Kevin (Betty); sisters: Georgina (Floyd) Imm, California, Barbara (Gerry) Barkhouse, Alberta, Cathrine (Laris) Duffy, Benoit’s Cove and Margaret McCarthy, Benoit’s Cove; aunts: Ellen “Nell” (Bill) White, Benoit’s Cove, Bernice Dormody, and Maude Dormody; uncle Ralph (Leonce) Dormody, Alberta; grandchildren: Serena, Jonathan, Stephanie, Megan, Timmy, Cathleen, Jake, Michael, Katelyn, Alexander, Nichole, Michael and John. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father William Wayson, mother Eileen Dormody, sister Patricia Wayson and granddaughter Jennifer Wayson. Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Friday 7-9 PM, Saturday and Sunday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 5th, 2009 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish, Benoit’s Cove with Father Bernard Buckle officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Benoit’s Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice.
