SHIRLEY PEDDLE Corner Brook, NL January 4th, 1936 - December 26th, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shirley Peddle announce her passing on Friday, December 26th, 2008 at her family residence in Corner Brook at the age of 72 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 54 years Ben, children: Geraldine (Frank McDonald), Toronto, Joan, Toronto, Judy, Wasaga Beach, Ont., Wayne, Toronto and Larry, Calgary; grandchildren: Terra, Danny, Ben, Amanda and Justin, sisters: Linda, Halifax and Laura (John), Calgary; brothers: Bill (Joyce) Martin, Toronto, Don (Betty) Martin, Huntsville, On and Gary (Florence) Martin, Upper Island Cove; sisters-in-law: Martha (Max) Skerd, Corner Brook and Rose Martin, Nova Scotia; brother-in-law: Whitfield Peddle, Toronto. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Chesley and Florence Martin, brothers Jerry and Eddy Martin. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30th at 11:00 AM from the Salvation Army Citadel with Majors Robert and Cassie Kean officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association.
