It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maud Porter announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Sunday, December 7th, 2008 at the age of 78 years. The funeral service took place at St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church in Burgeo on Tuesday, December 9th at 3:00 p.m. Interment followed at the Burgeo Community Cemetery. Reverend Hubert Vallis officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted.
