Passed away on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Peter Oke at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his sister: Alice Boone-Oke, Toronto, ON; brothers: Raymond Oke, London, ON, Roy Oke (Mary), Corner Brook, Edward Oke (Beatrice), Corner Brook, and Robert Oke, Sweden; special care givers: Rendell and Sharon Foote, Corner Brook; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. Granting the wishes of the family, there will be no formal service. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, donations in his memory may be made to the charity of ones choice. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
