AMBROSE TAPP Corner Brook, NL Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 19th, 2008 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Ambrose Tapp at the age of 78 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 52 years, Shirley (nee Brenton); brother: Bill Tapp, Corner Brook; sisters: Myrtle Brake (Austin), Corner Brook, Milada, Halifax, NS and Ada Short, Pasadena; aunt: Anna Merci (Carter deceased), Deer Lake; brothers-in-law: Cyril, Bob and Winston; sisters-in-law: Patsy, Joy and Jean; best friends: Gerry and Shirley Park, Corner Brook; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents: Douglas and Naomi Tapp; sisters: Evelyn, Jane, Annie, Jessie and Catherine; twin brother Ernest , Robert and Ben. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St.Marks Avenue on Thursday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Friday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street.
