It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cornelius Cormier announce his passing on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Gladys; children: Hubert (Beatrice), Robinsons, Marina (Bradley) Long, Corn (Joan), Geraldine, Patricia (Charles Legge), Olive (George) Long, Gary, Judy (Maxie Burchell), Shawn, St. Theresa's, Ivy, Janet, Linda, Ruby (Leonard), Stephenville, Robert (Christine Falls), Flat Bay; 47 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; brothers: Edward (Yvonne), St. Theresa's and Johnny, Stephenville Crossing; sisters: Zeta (Edward) LaSaga, St. Theresa's and Delia Nash, Flat Bay East, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his son Randy, daughter Bertha, parents Alfred and Mary, brothers: Leo, Arthur, Hubert, Benedict, Bernard and Alonzo. The family will be receiving friends at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Flat Bay on Wednesday and Thursday from where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 3rd at 2:00 p.m. Fr. Gerard Patry officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery, St. Theresa's. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, West Street, Stephenville Crossing.
