MURDOCK STONE Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Murdock Stone announce his passing on Friday, October 3rd, 2008, surrounded by his family at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 64 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his wife: Ann; daughter: Joanne, son-in-law: Colin Hilliard ; son: Terry, daughter-in-law: Elizabeth (Lisa) Ilnicky-Stone; two sisters: Doris (Dougal) Wells and Doreen (Edward) Gibney; two life long friends: Jim and Wally Fost; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents: Murdock and Martha Stone and parents-in-law: Frank and Victoria Anderson. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’ Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. and Monday, 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street. Officiated by Canon Derek Thomas. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit or to All Saints Church Memorial Fund.
