HAROLD ARTHUR TULK Corner Brook, NL May 10th, 1922 - September 17th, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harold Arthur Tulk announce his passing on Wednesday, September 17th, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 86 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his devoted wife of 59 years Madeline (Chafe), children: Barbara, Patricia (Robert) George, Janet (Andrew) Thorne, Paul (JoAnn Baldwin), Geoffrey (Denise MacGillivray), Ann (Harvey) Brinston, Laurie (Elizabeth Finn) and Donald (Marsha Hudson), grandchildren: Stephen and Julia Thorne, Mark and Nathan Tulk, David and Michael P. Tulk, Adrienne and Courtney Brinston, Sarah, Emily and Michael W. Tulk, Willem and Miller Tulk, great-granddaughter Bree Mae Walker, sister Sylvia Pygas, brothers Laurie (Iza) Tulk and Leslie (Frances) Tulk, sisters-in-law: Jean Gillingham and Patricia Clark. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Ralph (1989) and Winifred (1992) and brother Selby (1945). Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20th at 2:00 PM from All Saints’ Anglican Church with Rev. Canon Derek Thomas officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy no flowers by request donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross, the VON or to All Saints’ Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
