LLEWELYN ALLEY Jeffrey’s, NL June 19th, 1924 - August 9th, 2008 Passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 9th, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Llewelyn Alley at the age of 84 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 61 years Mary (nee Barter), two daughters: Doris (Hector) Roberts, Lark Harbour and Sheila (Thomas) Dicks, Sydney, NS; grandchildren: Allan, Joseph and Janice, brothers and sisters: William (Betty), George (Phoebe), Charles, Agnes (Carl) Chaffey and Angela Cross all of St. David’s; sisters-in-law: Lavinia Alley, Port Aux Basques and Georgina Alley, St. David’s, special cousin Mary (Donald) Fillatre, Pasadena. As well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Courtney and Giulia Alley, brothers Stephen, Rossburn and Basil, sister-in-law Marjorie and brother-in-law Jerome. Friends may visit St. Michael's and all Angels Anglican Church in St. David's on Monday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 12th at 2:00 PM. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Jeffrey’s. As expressions of sympathy no flowers by request donations may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice.
