It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph David White announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at the age of 84. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: loving companion Muriel Humber; children: Dorothy Eileen Prokopchuk, Windsor, ON, Charles, Fort Smith, N.W.T., Bernard, Shallop Cove, Lloyd Cornwall, P.E.I., Janet McMillan, Travellers Rest, P.E.I., Margaret Ann MacGillivray, Charlottetown, P.E.I., James, Caroline Hill, both of Trenton, ON; 14 grandchikdren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters: Margaret (Maggie May) Dawson, Shallop Cove, Melinda Smith, U.S.A.; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his wife, Genevieve; brother, Arthur; sister, Marjorie Sealock. Friends may visit St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, St. Georges on Friday and Saturday from where the mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, November 20th at 2:00 p.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery, Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church Memorial Fund. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, West Street, Stephenville Crossing.
