It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael Baggs announce his sudden passing on Sunday, November 7th, 2004 at the age of 28 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: his mother; Diane Baggs, St. John's; his father; Jon Baggs (Elizabeth Knee), Corner Brook, brother; Dana Harrell (Marilyn), St. John's and sisters; Cheryl Therrien (Dennis), WaWa, ON, and Ann-Marie Shirran, St. John's; grandmothers; Belle Shirran, Bonavista, and Elizabeth Baggs, Steady Brook, as well as nieces Brittany and Rebecca Harrell, St. John's, nephews: Jacob, Justin and Jessie Therrien, WaWa, ON; aunts and uncles; Bruce Baggs (Greta), Steady Brook, Ann Belle, St. John's, William Bell, Corner Brook, Ron Piggott, Picton, ON, Gordon Shirran (Edith), Ed Shirran, Fred Shirran, Ontario, Majors Bruce Shirran (Marilyn), ON, Barbara Michael, Peoria, Illinois, Brian Shirran (Cheryl), Debbie Crewe (Bob), Bonavista; and his special friend Laura Beresford, as well as many friends. He was predeceased by his grandfathers; Hedley Baggs, Steady Brook and Hubert Shirran, Bonavista, two aunts; Barbara Piggott and Ruth King, ON. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Tuesday evening from 7-9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 11th, at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street. Captain Michelle Rideout officiating. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
