It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cecilia Wheeler announce her passing on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2004 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 76 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: Thomas, William and Karl (Donna), of Halfway Point; daughters: Mary Byrne (Gerard), Corner Brook, Roberta Bellows (Brian), Rosanne (Darrell) Adey, Mt. Moriah and Marjorie (Max) Childs, York Harbour; grandchildren: Adam, Jeffrey, Amanda, Justin, Jerry, Jennifer, Ian, Melissa, Cody and Karla; great-grandchildren: Emma, Grace, Sebastian; sisters: Theresa (Jacob) Crocker, Lezita Fitzpatrick; brother James (Ailsa) Ducey; special niece Joanne (Greg) Collins; and her faithful and loyal companion Tally. Also leaving to mourn an extended circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by husband Clayton (1993); parents: William and Mary Anne Ducey; brothers: Joseph, Hugh, Aloysius, Michael, and William; and sisters: Rosanna, Bridget and Mary. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place from Our Lady Star of The Sea Roman Catholic Parish, Benoit's Cove, on Friday, November 5th at 10:30 a.m. Father Bernard Buckle officiating.
