Obituary of Vernice Deloris Alley

It is with heavy hearts that the family of the Late Vernice Alley announce her passing on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at her family home in St. David’s, NL at the age of 89 years.  She will be always loved and remembered by her children:  Wade (Mae), Darrell (Mondella), Marg, Rose (Malcolm), Audrey (Jerome), Juanita (Dave), Zona (Rick); son-in-law Dale; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Theo; sister-in-law Emma and a large circle of nieces, nephews other family and friends.  She was pre-deceased by her husband Cecil; parents Charles & Mary Pike; son Daniel; daughters:  Mary, Vernice, Kimberly, Darleen; son-in-law Jim; daughter-in-law Inez; granddaughter Trina; grandson Aaron; brothers:  Adren, Kevin, Herman; sisters:  Lourice, Alvina, Rowena and Kathleen.  Visitation will take place at St. Michael & All Angels Anglican Church in St. David’s, NL on Sunday, October 28, 2018 between the hours of 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Norman Cutler officiating.  Interment in the Anglican Church Cemetery, St. David's will take place following the service.  As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones’ choice.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
