Obituary of Clyde Burridge Blanchard

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clyde Blanchard announce his passing on Tuesday, June 19th, 2018 at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 70 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are; his loving wife Vivian (nee Park) of 49 years; children: Aubrey (Tammy), Tina (Clarence) Pennell and Adam (Jeanette); grandchildren: Evan (Vanessa), Renee (Zach), Alex (Jacinda), Annie and James; great grandchildren: Jordyn and Easton; sisters-in-law: Ester Park, Jocelyn Blanchard, Linda Park, Marilyn (Randy) Park and Gertie (Morley) Park; brothers-in-law: Alex (Mary) Park and Barry (Gwen) Park; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents Russell and Annie Blanchard, Brother Bert Blanchard; brothers-in-law Clarence Park, Arch Park and Bruce Park; sister-in-law Phyllis Beales and special nephews Jonathon and Jason. The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Whitten and Wendy for the many years of care they provided to Clyde, to the McIvers Volunteer Fire Department and the Staff of Western Memorial Hospital Emergency Department. Family and friends may visit the Epiphany Anglican Church, McIvers on Wednesday evening and continuing all day Thursday from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, June 22nd, at 2:00 p.m, with Reverend Mario Melendez officiating. The interment to follow at the church cemetery, McIvers. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
