Passed peacefully away at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on September 16, 2007 after a lengthly battle with cancer, ALEXANDER WALTER ROBERTSON at the age of 78. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 55 years, Thelma, son John, daughter-in-law Debbie (Elliott), and daughter Alexandria Robertson; grandchildren: Natasha McCarthy & husband Jason, Scott Robertson, Tammy Robertson, Susan Robertson, Otto Mitchell & wife Paula, Sonya Wheeler & husband Cory, Mark Mitchell; great grandchildren: Ethan, Reid, Taylor, Ryan, Nathan, Bailey, and Cole; sisters: Mary Robertson & Agnes Fitzpatrick as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by parents Margaret & James Robertson, brothers: Frederick, George, Thomas, John, Augustus and Adolphus; sisters: Margaret, Sophia, Helena & Ruth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 19th at 10:30 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church, Curling Street Father Bernard Buckle & Monsignor Jim Robertson officiating, cremation to follow.
