It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jean Sheppard announce her passing on Sunday, September 9th, 2007 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in her 84th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Sandra Roebotham (Scott), Corner Brook and Karen White (Charles), Edmonton, grandchildren: Wendy Hogan (Bruce), Matthew Roebotham, Debbie White (Mike) and Laura Evans (Rick), great-grandchildren: Daryl, Riley, Megan, Madeline and Seamus, brothers: Alton Butt, Earl Butt and Thurland Butt, sisters: Hilda Hudson and Shirley AfflecK, sisters-in-law: Adeline Butt, Beulah Butt, Sybil Butt and Jean Janes, brother-in-law John Nelson. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Sheppard, parents: Frederick and Adelia Butt, brothers: Wilbert Butt, Max Butt and Ray Butt, sisters: Thelma Kryski and June Nelson. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 12th at 2:00 PM from Humber United Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Andrew Wright officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital 3B Unit.
