PATRICK JOHN FLYNN Lourdes, NL September 14, 1955 - August 18, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Patrick John Flynn announce his passing at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s on Saturday, August 18th, 2007 at the age of 51 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories Madeline Flynn whom he knew as MOM for the past 49 years, also Mary, Nicholl and little Nicholas, who shared the same home and mom; sisters: Esther, Linda, Veronica (Clyde), of Stephenville, Shirley (Paul) of Nova Scotia; brothers: John (Florence), Greg (Rose) of Port au Port East, Hillary (Marg) of Lourdes, Chris (Barb) of Alberta; brother-in-law Anthony, of Marystown, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by Patrick (Paddy) Flynn whom he called Poppy, and his birth parents John and Bertha (nee: Targett) Flynn and sister Marjorie Farrell. Visitation will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Lourdes on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., from where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 22nd at 10:00 a.m. with Father Ed Terry officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in West Bay. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
