Corner Brook, NL 1912-2004 Passed peacefully away Thursday, September 2, 2004 at the Interfaith Home, Corner Brook EDNA A. WELLS at the age of 92. She will be lovingly remembered by her 9 children, sons: Jim (Laura), Corner Brook, Gordon (Maxine), Corner Brook, Walter (Joy), Corner Brook, Lawrence (Judy), Mt. Moriah; daughters Violet Companion (Lawrence), Corner Brook, Sadie Branham, West Virginia, Madeline O'Dea, St. John's, Marie Wheeler, Toronto, Gloria O'Driscoll, St. John's; daughter-in-law Claudine Barnes; sister Leona Cutler, Florida; 41 grandchildren and a large number of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband William Wells in 1976, baby Sarah, son Gerald Barnes, grandson Ronald Wells, great-granddaughter Kelsie Barnes, Son-in-law Lloyd Wheeler, brother Jim Barnes, George Barnes, Fred Barnes, sisters Violet Hann and Annie Wells. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 4th at 10:30 a.m. from Scared Heart Church, Curling Street Father Bernard Buckle officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery.
