Obituary of William James Crane

It is with great sadness of the late William Crane announce his passing Wednesday Sept. 1, 2004,at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 79th year. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Jean (nee Andrews); son John, Pasadena; daughters: Elizabeth (Edwin) Seward, Oromocto, NB, Barbara (Edward) Burton, Corner Brook, Judy (Robert) Collins, Toronto, Ont, Cindy (Brain) Sooley, Thessalon, Ont, Rhonda (Clint) Walsh, Pasadena; grandchildren: Kirby (Andrea) and Rodney Crane, Tracy (Carlos) Melo, Todd (Denise), Rodger (Mary), and Seaward, Jason (Beth) Burton, Susan (Stephen) Gomes, Tammy (Alan) Dube, Nancy (Jeffrey) O'Blenis, Kimberley (Scott) Berry, Matthew (Christina) Sooley, Justin and Jennifer Walsh; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters: Mary Nauss, Halifax, NS, Bertha Johnston, Oxbow, SK and Joan Mackie, Alberta; brother Gerald Crane, BC; also survived by a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents: Samuel and Rhoda Crane, daughter Rhoda, son William Jr., brother George, sister Annie Pike, and daughter-in-law Stella Crane. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks's Avenue on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place from St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church on Saturday, September 4th at 2:00 p.m. The Very Reverend Lorne Gosse officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
