Passed peacefully away on July 5, 2007, Ona Pearl O’Connell, age 96. Beloved wife of the late Patrick Joseph O’Connell. Leaving to mourn, grandson: Ron O’Connell (Paula), great grandchildren: Christopher & Heather O’Connell, daughter-in-law Ruth Green, brother-in-law: Kevin O’Connell (Peggy), sister-in-law Ann Basha as well as many nieces, nephews and special friends. Predeceased by son Donald O’Connell, sisters: Edith McCallum, Elizabeth Butt & Gertrude Ruth. The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 8th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Curling Street followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home 218 Curling Street Saturday between 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of ones choice.
