Barbara Alma Stewart Rocky Harbour, NL (formerly of Ramea, NL) November 25, 1934 - May 30, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Barbara Stewart announce her sudden passing on Wednesday, May 30th, 2007 at the Health Science Centre, St. John’s, at the age of 72 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her three children: Ian (Mary) Stewart, Ramea, Jill Stewart-Rose (Wayne), Corner Brook and Angus (Maxine) Stewart, Ramea; grandchildren: Krista (Shawn) Scott, Jonathan Stewart (fiancee, Kayley), Katherine Rose and Geoffrey (Penny) Stewart; two great grandchildren: Gabrielle and Leah Scott; one sister: Cynthia Stevens, England; brother-in-law: David (Kay) Stewart, England, as well as large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many wonderful friends. Predeceased by her husband Douglas Stewart, 1991. Friends may visit St. Matthews Anglican Church in Rocky Harbour on Saturday from 2-6:00 p.m, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will continue in Ramea on Sunday from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, June 4th at 2:00 p.m. Rev. John Ollsson officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Canadian Red Cross, Newfoundland and Labrador division.
