Ronald Joseph Sheppard St. George’s, NL March 18, 1946 - May 2, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronald Joseph Sheppard announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007 at the age of 61 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories two brothers: Freeman (Diane) Sheppard and Melvin (Alma) Sheppard; three sisters: Mona (Joseph) McCarthy, Barbara (Ches) Higdon and Patsy (Doug) Cramm; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Isabella Sheppard and sister Lila Sheppard. Friends may visit St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George’s on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 5th at 10:00 a.m with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Diabetes Association. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
