ELSIE MAE JOHNSON Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elsie Mae Johnson (Oates) announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 97 years. Mae will be lovingly remembered by her children: Annie (Lloyd), Wanda (Allan), Bob (Joan), Franklin (Jean), Wayne (Donna); 14 grandchildren: Terry, Diane, Blair, Judy, Ann Marie, Robert, Debra, Todd, Paul, Stephen, Craig, Gregory, Andrew, Colin; 13 great-grandchildren. As well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Mae was predeceased by her husband Stanley, daughter Lillian (Mosher), parents Robert and Lillian Oates, brother Abner, sisters Mildred (Callahan), Maude (Hiscock). Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, Corner Brook Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 23rd at 2:00 p.m. from Humber United Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Kathy Brett and Rev. Clayton Parsons officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Humber United Church. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
