MAXWELL HAROLD ANDERSON Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maxwell Anderson announce his passing on Friday, April 13th, 2007 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 78 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his wife Lena (nee Osmond); five children: Maxine (Carl) Noseworthy, Corner Brook, Walter (Colleen) Anderson, Humber Village, Gregory (Elaine) Anderson, Churchill Falls, Carolyn (Barry) Grant, Corner Brook and Kristopher Anderson (friend Amy Cobb), Corner Brook; 10 precious grandchildren: Brock and Krysta Noseworthy, James, Robyn and John Anderson, Jordan and Justin Anderson, Tyler, Matthew and Sara Grant; sisters: Ruby Hardy (John-deceased), Stephenville, Beverly Batt (Wilbert), Corner Brook and Gloria Murphy, St. John’s; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and his railroad fraternity. Predeceased by his parents, Emmanuel and Mary Anderson and Bill Anderson, Violet Langdon, Cedella Mosher and Annie Martin. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Sunday evening, 7-9 pm, and Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 17th at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Church, Clarence Street, Canon Derek Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Shriner’s Mazol Temple or to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Branch.
