MARY JESSIE COLSON ALEXANDER (Nee Muise) “A Master Seamstress” December 12, 1916 - April 4, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Jessie Alexander announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing on Wednesday, April 4th, 2007 at the age of 90 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories son Gordon Muise; daughter Virginia Legge; three sisters: Elizabeth Brake, Oliveria Swyers (Harold) and Josephine Spicer; brother Augustus (Mary); fourteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends. Predeceased by parents John and Mary Muise (nee Renouf); first husband Joseph Colson and second husband Freddy Alexander; daughter Judy Colson; sisters: Lucy Muise, Theresa Muise, Lucy Drake and Evelyn Doyle-Jones, and brothers: John Henry Muise, Henry Joseph Muise, Walter Muise, Victor Muise and Peter Muise. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 7 West St., Stephenville Crossing on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in St. George’s on Monday, April 9th at 2:00 p.m. Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Courthouse Road, St. George’s. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre Bus Fund.
