HEINRICH “HENRY” BACHMANN Corner Brook, NL (formerly of Germany) It is with great sadness that the family of the late Henry Bachmann announce his passing on Monday, March 19th, 2007 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 81 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Elizabeth; six children: Ralph (Annie), Regina (Gary Dewling), Tony, Doris (Rev. Stewart Bellows), Carl and Monica (Ron McCarthy); eight grandchildren: Christopher, Sean (Arlene), Adam, Sara, Spencer, Hillary, Joshua and Helena; two step grandchildren: Jason and Jamie; two great grandchildren: Julia and MacKenzie; one sister: Elizabeth Schafer (Willi), as well as other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents Bartel and Elisabeth Bachmann and brother Adolf. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 22nd at 2:00 p.m from Humber United Church, Clarence Street. Rev. Kathy Brett officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Humber United Church or charity of ones choice.
