Amelia “Minnie” Sheppard Benoits Cove, NL 	 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Amelia “Minnie” Sheppard announce her passing on Saturday, March 10th, 2007 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 70 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Lloyd, children: Willis (Lorna) Payne, Lorraine Sheppard (John Ferguson), Della Sheppard (Todd Park), Martin (Debbie), Lloyd, Cora (Ralph) Curtis and Dean (Sherri Boland), 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, mother Martha Payne, sisters: Bet (Claude) Ellsworth, Sonara Collett (Norman Hynes), Jean (Sam) Evoy, Doreen (Bill) Torraville and Rowena (Gerald) Gilley, brothers: Phonse (Sandra) Payne, Henry (Mona) Payne, Laurant (Chris) Payne and Bryant Payne. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Patsy, father William, brothers Foward and Ken, sister Juanita. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Monday from the hours of 2-4 PM visitation will continue at St. Ambrose Anglican Church, John’s Beach 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 13th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
