Obituary of Alma Roberts
Passed away Saturday, January 10th, 2004 at the Interfaith Home, Alma Roberts at the age of 94.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Keith Roberts (Debbie) and her daughter Eileen Slade (Dave); two grandchildren: Carolyn Penney (Geoffrey), Shelley Slade; sister Ida Lundrigan and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Cyril James Roberts in 1977 and twin sister Olga White in 1993.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 13th at 10:30 a.m. from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cathedral, Main Street, The Very Reverend Lorne Gosse officiating, followed by the interment at the Mt. Patricia Cemetery Receiving Chapel. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association of Newfoundland & Labrador or the Canadian Cancer Society.
