MARI PARSONS Stephenville Crossing, NL January 19, 1905 - February 9, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mari Parsons announce her passing on Friday, February 9th, 2007 at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre at the age of 102 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter: Anna Morris; sons: John Parsons and Raymond (Madeline) Parsons, Stephenville Crossing; brother: Hans Tessness, Tessanden, Norway; grandchildren: Freda (Edward) Kenny, Elliott Lake, ON, Rhoda (Gerald) Reid, Ottawa, ON, Linda (Dennis) Lucas, Stephenville Crossing, William (Sheila) Morris, Ottawa, ON, Christine Young, Brampton, ON and Anton (Danette) Parsons, Abbottsford, BC; great-grandchildren: Mari, Andrew, Tracy, Jay, Nicole, Rebecca, Ryan, Keara, Kaelan, Connor and Faith; sister-in-law: Anna Tessness, Norway, as well as a niece, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by husband Daniel Parsons; parents: Anton and Anna Tessness; brothers Thor and Rudolph Tessness; son-in-law: Fred Morris; and Infant baby girl. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m., and Monday, 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The funeral service will take place on Monday, February 12th at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Rev. Karen Laldin officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flower graciously accepted or donations may be made to Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, All Saints Memorial Fund or to the charity of ones choice.
