MAHAR Joyce Brampton, Ontario (Formerly of Castors River North) It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joyce Mahar announce her passing on Sunday, February 4th, 2007 at William Osler Hospital, Brampton, Ontario at the age of 56 years. She leaves to mourn her children: Marie (Lyndon), Brampton, Tonya (Toni), Toronto and Ivan, two grandchildren: Nautahsa and Jagger, sisters: Beatrice, Mary, Vina, Dorris, Hilda, Hazel, Neila, Clare and Jessie, brothers: Roy, Sandy, Ikey, Ivan and Kerry, very special friend Patrick Kennedy. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Guy, parents Alexander and Mabel Newcombe. The family will be receiving friends from St. Anne’s Chapel, Castors River North on Wednesday and Thursday from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, February 9th at 11:00 AM with Father Roger officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bird Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Breast Cancer Research. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Au Choix. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
