It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernadette George announce her passing on Wednesday, January 31st, 2007 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 80 years. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 63 years Anthony George; children: Ron (Linda), Paul(Maureen), Keith (Gwen), Peggy Young (Butch), Tony (Roxanne); grandchildren: Lori, Krista, Michael, Keary, Neil, Kelly, Tanya, Michael, Robbie, Scott, Stephen, Philip and Andrew, as well as numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Louise & Edward Boland, infant daughter Mary Lou and her 11 siblings: Mary Battock, Jack Boland, Joseph Boland, Irene Lally, Annette Boland Sister Francis Boland, Basil Boland, William Boland, Margaret Hayes, Gertrude Johnson and Belle McCarthy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 3rd at 10:30 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church, Curling Street Father Bernard Buckle officiating, followed by cremation. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home 218 Curling Street, Thursday from 7-9 & Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
