It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nicholas William Basha announce his passing on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 53. He will be sadly missed by his mother Mary Wellon; brothers & sisters, twin brother Noel, Tom, Joe, Mary E. Basha, Kathleen Limberis, Michael, David, Anthony, Martha Basha (Danny Kelly), Elias and their families, as well as many friends. He was predeceased by his father Elias T. Basha and his step father Bill Wellon. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street Wednesday & Thursday during the hours 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 26th at 10:30 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church, Curling Street Father Bernard Buckle officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation. The Basha family would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Cliff Westby, Catherine Allen -Westby, Dorothy Allen and the nursing staff at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, your care and support during a very difficult time will always be remembered.
