BRENDA MARGARETTE GILES Corner Brook, NL May 27, 1952 - January 14, 2007 Brenda Margarette Giles passed peacefully away at the age of 54 at Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook on Sunday, January 14, 2007 after a long battle with lung cancer. Predeceased by father Walter Burry Sr., and sister Edith Stockley. Leaving to mourn: son Joseph Walter Giles; mother: Mrs. Ena Burry; brothers: Chesley, Maxwell (Beverly), Walter (Lorraine), Stewart (May), Mervin (Sharon) ; sisters: Lillian, Daphne (Tom), Bernice (Robert), Valerie (Nick), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends. Forever missed and in our hearts, “And just at the moment when someone at my side says “she is gone” there are others who are watching her coming, and other voices take up a glad shout “there she comes”. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends and family may visit Oram’s Funeral Home in Glovertown on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 17th at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army church, Glovertown, with interment to follow at the family plot. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
