Aubrey Herritt November 2, 1925 - March 21, 2008 It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Aubrey Herritt announce his passing on Friday, March 21st, 2008. Born in Rose Blanche, he was the son of the late William and Mabel Herritt. He was predeceased by his sister Mary Park and Step-brother Budd Herritt. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Deborah; 14 children: Irene (Charlie) Chaulk, Port Aux Basques, Arthur (Linda), Rose Blanche, Wayne (Ida), Rose Blanche, Gilbert (Debbie), Thorold,Ontario, Barbara (Lorne) Porter, Rose Blanche, Bill (Margie), Rose Blanche, Manuel (Kim), Lark Harbour, Gary (Brenda), Rose Blanche, Florence, Rose Blanche, David (Diane), Rose Blanche, Charlie (Maisie), Isle Aux Morte, Robert (Nancy), Lower Sackville, Arthena (Scott) Keeping, Eastern Passage, Trina (Jamie), Eastern Passage. Aubrey also leaves to mourn 26 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister Margaret Parsons, Rose Blanche; step-sister Mabel (Winston) Dominie, Nova Scotia; step-brothers: Albert (Joan), Willard (Theresa), Henry (Jocelyn), Rose Blanche, and a large circle of nieces and nephews, family and friends. His smile and kindness will live in our hearts forever. He will be sadly missed. Funeral services took place on Tuesday, March 25th at w:00 pm from St. Michael’s and All Angels Church in Rose Blanche, officiated by Rev. Billard. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery in Margaree. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques.
