It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jean Crane announce her passing on Thursday, January 4th, 2007 at the Interfaith Home for Seniors, Corner Brook in her 90th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son John, Pasadena; daughters: Elizabeth (Edwin) Seward, Oromocto, NB, Barbara (Edward) Burton, Corner Brook, Judy (Robert) Collins, Toronto, ON, Cindy (Brian) Sooley, Thessalon, ON and Rhonda (Clint) Walsh, Pasadena; grandchildren: Kirby (Andrea) and Rodney (Natalie) Crane, Tracy (Carlos) Melo, Todd (Denise), Rodger, Nicole (Curtis) Burrage, Jason (Beth) Burton, Susan (Stephen) Gomes, Tammy (Alan) Dube, Nancy (Jeffrey) O’Blenis, Kimberley (Scott) Berry, Matthew (Christina) Sooley, Justin and Jennifer Walsh; 14 great-grandchildren; sister Millicent (Loil) Hann, Bell Island; sisters-in-law: Mary Nauss, Halifax, NS, Bertha Johnston, Oxbow, SK and Joan Mackie, Alberta; brother-in-law Gerald Crane, BC; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband William, parents John and Elizabeth Andrews, daughter Rhoda, son William Jr., daughter-in-law Stella Crane, sisters Marion, Lavinia, Gladys and Margaret, brothers Bill and Jack. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place from St. John The Evangelist Anglican Cathedral on Monday, January 8th at 2:00 P.M. with The Very Reverend Michael Rice officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Interfaith Home for Seniors.
